HERBIE FLETCHER

Herbie Fletcher was born in 1948 in Pasadena, California, and lives in San Clemente, California. The surfing icon has exploded onto the art scene with his large scale sculptures and paintings, often incorporating fragments from his personal boards into his works. In just the last seven years, Fletcher has exhibited coast to coast, from Gagosian on Madison Avenue to MOAH museum in California. Fletcher has also collaborated with famed art legend, Julian Schnabel. The Fletcher family is often referred to as “The First Family of Surfing”. The ocean and a great passion for surfing have inspired all of his works.
